3. Bicol Peñafrancia Festival 2008 Schedule, Byahilo.com provides the complete schedule for a festival in the Bicol Region held annually in honor of the Our Lady of Peñafrancia. Adel, my friend from Daet, Camarines Norte must be aware of this, too.

4. SONA 2008, A Mother’s Hope, Ms. Noemi Dado shares a mother’s viewpoint in the recently delivered SONA of Pres. Arroyo. I find her post moving.

5. David Cook in Manila–January 27, 2009, Abbie breaks the news that the 2008 American Idol will be visiting the Philippines next year. There’s no more exciting news than this!
