Think you can write a compelling essay about the importance of your eyesight? If yes, here is your chance to shine. Galileo SurgiCenter, a specialty clinic based in Manila, has launched an essay writing contest as part of its 1st Annual Sight-Saving Month Celebration.
The theme of the essay writing contest, which runs until 30 August 2008, is “Why Eyesight is Important to Me” or “Bakit Mahalaga ang Aking Paningin.” Anyone can join, bloggers and non-bloggers alike. You just have to comply with a set of requirements.

basta ko mahalaga ang mata ko kasi pag wala yun hindi ako makakakita eh. lol! pano na ko mag aalaga ng aking mga pusa diba? eh di magugutom na lang sila? nakakaiyak, it cannot be!

Wow, that seems interesting. I want to write since I have a personal experience regarding my eyesight’s improvement since first grade but the grammar, ugh!

Both my eyesight and my hands are important to me… I don’t want to loose them..sobrang sagwa kung pangit ka na nga wala ka pang makita at wala ka pang mahawakan lol
