Christmas Shopping and Christmas Bazaars in the Philippines

When I was a kid, I used to rejoice whenever Christmas Season came. Who wouldn’t if all your playmates are ecstatic about wearing nice clothes, caroling, attending Christmas parties and receiving gifts? As I grew up, I realized that Christmas is really meant for kids. Once you reach adulthood, it’s payback time to the new generation of kids below you, if you know what I mean. But I guess that’s just really how things are. After all, Christmas is all about loving and sharing.
These days, people are going crazy over bazaars. I, for instance, am already looking forward to going to bazaars with friends. Not that I have so much to spend, it’s just that sometimes there are good finds at bazaars that you cannot get from flea markets nor Divisoria and Greenhills.
This morning, I thought of finding Christmas bazaar schedules on the web. It was not easy, mind you. The first ones I got were either lacking details, unreliable or utterly incomplete. I continued browsing and eventually found what I was looking for–an extensive Christmas bazaar schedule for 2008 from Byahilo.com.
Below are the ones that caught my interest:
27-28 September
Karl Edwards International Bazaar
NBC Tent, Taguig
Grand Bazaar ‘08 @ the Big Tent
Isidora Hills, Holy Spirit Drive
Don Antonio Commonweath, QC
28 September
Assumption Alumni Bazaar
Hotel Intercontinental, Makati
4-5 October
Rockwell Urban Bazaar
Powerplant Mall, Rockwell, Makati City
You can view the complete list here.
I hope you find the Christmas bazaar schedule useful, especially if you’re planning to start early in your traditional Christmas shopping.
Have fun!

dito yata, ang christmas atmosphere e mararamdaman lang one week before christmas lol! kamiss ang pinas christmas season.
Ay! Ang PASKONG PINOY ang the best around the world! Walang katapat! Haha. Kinda agree to say that xmas is for kids, pero kahit tayo na magbibigay sa kanila as adults okay lang kasi I thinks that’s how you feel xmas eh. pag nagbibigay ka…
Ber months na. Octoberfest, Haloween, then Christmas. Malaking gastusan na naman eto.
Ahh…Christmas songs. I always feel so happy whenever I hear Christmas songs.
