On Online Communication and Friendship Awards

It’s amazing how people get to forge friendships even without meeting personally. How many relationships (romantic and otherwise) have been formed on the web? Millions, I guess. A person gets to know a lot about another person just by visiting his social network profile and starting a chat, or better yet, checking out that person’s blog. Indeed, online communication is the trend today.

One good example of how people connect online is blogging. As an interactive communication tool, blogging transcends barriers and makes it possible for people to become friends. Personally speaking, I’ve gained some new friends through blogging. In fact, I still marvel at the thought that these people have went on to inspire me to write new posts, make and answer comments, bloghop, tag and even iniatate conversations outside my blog.

Recently, I got two awards from blogger friends MJ and Dylan, respectively:

“They all are charmed with the blogs, where in the majority of its aims are to show the marvels and to do friendship; there are persons who are not interested when we give them a prize and then they help to cut these bows; do we want that they are cut or that they propagate? Then let’s try to give more attention to them! So with this prize we must deliver it to 8 bloggers that in turn must make the same thing and put this text.”

Gestures of friendship, no matter how small or big they are, so long as they come from the heart, are always appreciated. Thank you MJ and Dylan for remembering me. These awards will surely inspire me to write and share more of myself through this blog and make it as interactive and welcoming as possible, especially to strangers and first time visitors.
