Note: This is quite late (as in two weeks late) but as a sign of gratitude to the people who helped made Edwin's birthday celebration extra special, I went ahead and published it.

Edwin and his cake
Last Friday night, I revisited Baguio City along with Albie and Adel. The main agenda of the trip? To join the celebration of Edwin's birthday in the City of Pines. He's been there since October 1st on official business together with several co-workers. There was no way he could celebrate his birthday in Manila so we just decided to hold a little party up in Baguio. The chilly weather was a bit of a distraction (it made me sleepy most of the time) but we all managed to have fun and make Edwin's birthday extra special.

We had a small feast Saturday night: spaghetti, baby back ribs, Russian potato salad, sisig, fried chicken and some Galliano cake brought to Baguio from Manila. There were also several bottles of San Mig light to warm the night. The food was more than enough for everyone that we had the same meal the next day. Lol.

This is the first time that we celebrated his birthday away from his parents but I guess that didn't spoil his birthday a bit knowing they were celebrating with us in spirit.

A million thanks to the following people who all went the extra mile to help prepare Edwin's little party:
Boss Daivy-supervision, logistics, cooking
Edlyn and Sandra-cooking, money matters
Philip, King and Lexi-cooking
Albie and Adel-grocery shopping
The rest-other equally important errands

Albie and the baby back ribs

As for me, I just slept all day. Just kidding. I helped in the cooking, of course.
Edwin is now 29 years old. For those who are not aware, he's my boyfriend of three years. He's four years my senior but the age gap has never been a problem in our relationship, so far. As a girlfriend who's a bit sassy and demanding at times (I guess all girlfriends are like that on occasions, lol), I just wish him continued good health and prosperity. Hopefully, he'll be wiser, tougher, more compassionate, more God-fearing, more family-oriented, more forgiving and more loving to his loved ones as he begins a new chapter in his life.
Again, happy birthday, Edwin!
