Busby SEO Test is the key phrase to watch. At least, that's what the latest Busby Web Solutions Search Engine Optimisation Challenge is saying. Calling all SEO specialists, gurus, masters and even newbies out there, this is your chance to show whatever talent you have when it comes to landing the top spot in the Google Search Engine. Indeed, the time has come for another great challenge that will test your creativity (or in my case, the lack thereof). You'll surely get motivated to join once you find out the prizes at stake. Get the juicy details after the jump.

The duration of the contest is from 1 October 2008 to 31 January 2009, exactly four months. To enter the contest, a registration is necessary. Prizes are as follows:

First Prize: $5000
Second Prize : $2000
Third Prize : $500
Fourth Prize : $250
Fifth Prize : $100

Not only that. Midway prize of $1000 will be awarded to the entrant who will have the highest average ranking on Google (USA Google Data Center - http://72.14.207.99). This will be measured on Monday, 5 January 2009 (12:00 midday) in Perth, Western Australia.

If that ain't enough, there are two special prizes to be given away. Two entrants with the most number of invited friends (who then register and join the contest) and with the most creative content as judged by the Busby panel, respectively, will win an iPod Touch each. How's that for appreciating efforts? I am thrilled just by the thought of it.

I'm not adept at Search Engine Optimization (SEO) but I gave this contest a shot. I heard about it through blogger friends. After several inquiries with Google, I learned that this global SEO challenge started on 1 June 2008 with the Busby SEO World Cup. The Busby SEO Test (current contest) is actually the second part, also from the same organizer Busby Web Solutions. When I finally decided to join, I immediately went to the Busby SEO Test contest page, underwent the registration process and followed the updated rules as I understood them.

So, what are you waiting for? Join the contest NOW.

Who knows you might make it next year? Good luck! :)

I am yet to understand what SEO is all about and how it goes. Infant stage pa lang ako sa mga ganyan kahit I've been blogging since 2005. Noon kasi simpleng HTML lang muna pinag-aaralan ko. Ngayon kasi it has evolved to this gargantuan of an industry na ang daming pasikut sikut. Pero little by little matututunan ko rin yan. Right now my priorities are with soemthing else eh.
