Oktoberfest for Bloggers at Taste Asia: Simply Awesome

I know this is quite late but for posterity’s sake, lemme share the Oktoberfest for Bloggers Event held last 26 September 2008 at the bloggers’ haven, Taste Asia in Mall of Asia, Pasay City. Hundreds of bloggers flocked to the venue to share a night of fun and relaxation over good food, free-flowing drinks, cool music and even cooler company.
For the second time, I brought my siblings Nyam and Danison along. I thought they needed to experience things like this to add some color to their social lives. It was also a great opportunity to bond with them as we seldom go out these days. Together with Edwin, Nice and Melay, we enjoyed the evening and had as much fun as we could. After all, that night everything was free courtesy of San Miguel Corporation.

Thank you to the PR arm of San Miguel Corporation and to Ms. Aileen Apolo for initiating another awesome event for us bloggers. You made us feel special and for that, we will be forever grateful.:)

As usual, people were busy chatting and taking photos. I saw familiar faces and said hi to the bloggers I know. However, I was not able to meet new bloggers this time. There was a short program consisting of games, a raffle and Moonstar 88 band performances to entertain the guests. My Superfriend Nice was lucky that night because she won an MP3 player in the raffle.

The Oktoberfest originated in Munich, Germany and I was there last year. It was fun.
