My childhood will always be memorable. As a kid, I have played almost every local street game imaginable during those times. These include piko, patintero, habulan, taguan, tumbang preso, and bahay-bahayan, among others. I have gained friends and even enemies. I have cried hard and laughed harder. Truly, it is fun to be a kid. Now, what if you're given a chance to reminisce your childhood and unleash the child in you once again? This time with your own kids, and you are to play as a family! Sounds exciting, isn't it? I think this is what Havaianas Philippines would like to achieve with their latest event dubbed as "Play Back: A Family Day of Retro Filipino Games.
Below are the event details:
What: Play Back: A Family Day of Retro Filipino Games
When: 12:00 n.n. to 9:00 p.m., 25 October 2008
Where: Bonifacio High Street (in front of All Flip Flops Store)
Why: To play local retro games in style and relive the memories of traditional Filipino fun
According to the newsletter I received from Havaianas, participants get freebies and early birds get special gifts. Cool, right? For more information, visit Havaianas Philippines website at http://www.havaianasphilippines.com.
