When I was a kid, my mom would bring me to the manghihilot whenever I didn't feel well or I needed a massage to treat an aching body part.The manghihilots are our traditional masseuses and masseurs back then as they helped people relieve stress and heal their aching bodies. Not only does it brings back memories of childhood (my moments with our favorite manghihilot) but it also soothes my body like no other spa treatment can. The calm and tender strokes are like pills that make me daydream or sleep in no time. It must be the familiarity (the massage is very similar to that of the manghihilot from my childhood years) and the homey feeling that never fails to warm my heart.
