Management Jobs for Education Graduates
Of course, he is. In this country where jobs are scarce and competition is tough, a decent job offer is received with overwhelming gratitude. I’m glad that my brother chose to take a different path in his career. Not because I don’t want him to be a teacher (I advised him to take LET next year!), but because a management job has some advantages. Learning how to deal with different kinds of people in a highly competitive environment is one of them.
My brother is on the verge of becoming a manager. He’s currently completing the set of requirements for the job. Our family cannot be more excited over this development in the professional life of my brother. We hope he makes it.
Personally speaking, a management job for an education graduate is equally promising. I think it does not fall under underemployment nor overemployment. For an education graduate like my brother taking the role of a manager in a fast food restaurant, it’s a challenge to apply the plethora of teaching concepts he learned in school in steering a group of crew in achieving the goals of the restaurant and the brand they represent in general.
Have you ever applied for a job that’s not within your educational background? If yes, how did you handle it? Do you think that employment opportunity is equally challenging?

Oh, that’s good to hear! Teaching is one of the most stable job in our country and it pays better than an average employee out there. But this vocation would require patience and dedication.
Good luck to your brother!
