My Most Favorite City in the World
By edelweiz on 17th June, 2009
I have several favorite cities in the world that I wish to visit before I die. (Of course, that excludes Manila because it has been and will always be the number one in my heart.) They are Paris, Rome, New York, Chicago, Singapore, Hong Kong, Zurich, Moscow, New Delhi, Dubai, Bangkok and Madrid. Among them, New York, for me, stands out from the rest because of its fast-paced, trendy lifestyle and the energy of its people. They say if you want to travel to New York, you have to plan your itineraries wisely so you won’t miss out on the good stuff.
If I am to visit The Big Apple in this lifetime, I’d make sure to get one of those New York City Tours from a credible travel agency. It wouldn’t matter if it’s a day tour or a night tour, as long as I’d get my money’s worth. For me, an ideal New York City tour involves riding on a double-decker bus. Nothing gives the best view of The Big Apple than the top-deck seats of a double-decker. From there, I could see the various New York attractions, shops and of course, the neighborhoods. I’d try hard to take a postcard-perfect picture of the famous Statue of Liberty and the grand Empire State Building as souvenir. As much as possible, I want to feel the vibe of the city and the zest of its people. It’s going to be a blast, for sure. I guess I better start saving up for that dream vacation soon.
