For Fever and Flu, I Swear by Tempra Forte

The bad weather had taken its toll on me last weekend while I was in Cebu. I didn’t almost make it to our friend’s wedding on Saturday morning. Good thing I was well-taken care of by my boyfriend. I cannot be more grateful to him and to the medicine he made me take, Tempra Forte (Paracetamol). I took one tablet after every four hours and that made all the difference. I got well the next day and returned to my usual bubbly self.

Tempra Forte has been my medicine of choice since college. It was mainly because I noticed my swift recovery from fever or flu whenever I take it. It was a different story with ______ where I’d be in bed for days. It seems my body respond better to Tempra Forte than to other flu medicines.

Tempra Forte is an over-the-counter drug which means you won’t need a doctor’s prescription to be able to buy it. (I’m not too sure though about its liquid version which is especially formulated for kids.) It is manufactured by Bristol-Myers Squibb and is distributed by Zuellig Pharma in the Philippines. It’s available in all drugstores nationwide for less than P10 per tablet.
