Blog Action Day 2009: Climate Change

I said partially because we all know we have roles to play in taking care of the environment. Sadly, we have turned into destroyers instead of preservers. And so we are reaping today what we sowed yesterday. We are destroying our habitat through our stubborn and concern-less actions. With the calamities that occurred, it’s easy to believe Mother Nature is already calling our attention to let us know her concerns, and agony.
Good thing it isn’t late yet for us to change our bad ways when it comes to preserving the earth, the very place in the universe where we live. We can still clean up our acts. We can still plan what measures should be undertaken to save what’s left of us. We can still work for the enactment of stricter environmental laws and see to it that implementation be as strict as well. We can still reassess our national disaster preparedness programs so we could be more prepared when more typhoons hit the country.
I just hope the “we” I’m referring to is listening to this plea.
This post is inspired by Blog Action Day whose subject of discussion this 2009 is Climate Change.

I am not sure if we have any effect on global warming but I think we still need to be energy efficient and help the environment.
Once the deep mystery of “climate change” has been solved
And “What’s green and causes CC?” is no longer a popular riddle,
The legacy of the era most likely will be:
“Never in recorded history have so many made so much over so little”.
(With apologies to the late, great Winston Churchill).
@amy: right. i believe we're partially responsible for what's happening.
@edwin sanchez: we really have to work together and do something.
