Christmas may be just around the corner but Halloween is fast-approaching. In the awesome country called the Philippines, people are getting more and more creative in celebrating this occasion. If before Halloween parties and trick-or-treating are limited to simple cocktails for adults and house-to-house visits for kids, now it’s made more fun with spooky Halloween costumes and accessories. Indeed, Filipinos are a fun-loving people even when observing social and religious traditions.

To prove to you that the coming Halloween is a much-anticipated event in this side of the world, this early I already have friends talking about what costumes to wear for their office Halloween parties. As for me, I’m excited about buying candies for kids who may drop by our house to do the traditional trick or treat. I plan to get some chocolates and candies on my next visit to my favorite candy store. Of course, not to be taken off my list of Halloween goodies is the great-tasting wonka laffy taffy candy which is inspired by the Willy Wonka movie.

So yeah, I guess I better make a complete list so I won’t forget what to buy. After all, kids deserve some lovin’ as they will be sweating it all out going from one house to another dressed in quirky Halloween costumes that their moms made them wear especially for the occasion.
