9th World Bazaar Festival at the World Trade Center, Pasay City

This bazaar is a joint project of ABS-CBN and Worldbex Services International and is up until December 16. Visited it with Edwin, Albie and Angie last night to get some Christmas clothes for my mom and my younger sister. Despite the wide variety of items being sold, I only got to buy four pieces of clothing and some accessories.

The bazaar was jampacked with people that night, especially the Celebrity Village. It is called so because there you can find the boutiques of Kapamilya stars (ABS-CBN artists). Some of the stars we spotted manning their stalls were Rica Peralejo, Donita Rose, Maricar de Mesa, Mariel Rodriguez and Gladys Reyes.

Instead of buying more items, I easily got tired and hungry from walking around because of the narrow passageways coupled with the heavy traffic of shoppers. Good thing there were a great number of food stalls concentrated at the back portion of the venue. My friends and I decided to just have a food trip. I guess we ate more than what our stomachs could handle. We tasted everything, from goto (congee) and rice meals to pasta and various kinds of street food. Wow, that was a looooot.

Are you done with Christmas shopping? I’m not. Yet.

@vivapinay: it's okay, there are more visit-worthy bazaars out there. the most convenient are still the ones near our homes. good luck, hope we finish before Christmas. :)

You're right, there are other worthy bazaars in the metro than this one. If it weren't for the ABS CBN as their promoter, this bazaar will not be a success. As for me, I only bought 1 bag of durian chips from that bazaar, haha…

@badet: hehe.i hope they improve next year. :)
