Tayo ang Taumbayan, Tayo ang Pagbabago: A People’s Tribute to CNN Hero Efren Peñaflorida

Tomorrow, December 11, Friday, join the rest of the Filipino nation in honoring a Real Live Hero, Efren Peñaflorida, Jr. (a.k.a. Kuya Ef) as we push for change and unite to bring hope to our country. There will be an assembly outside the Ninoy Aquino Monument on Ayala Avenue at 3:00 p.m., then march along with Kuya Ef and his kariton to Makati Avenue, then a free concert starts at 5:00 p.m.

This unique celebration of solidarity and the Filipino spirit will also feature the following bands:

There will be face painting, henna tattoo, a democracy wall where we can post our photos and express our feelings. We are also being asked to bring a Kris Kringle gift for a stranger whom we’ll meet in the concert, as well as possible donations for Kuya Ef’s Kariton Klasrum.
