It’s a Happy New Year After All

2009 has been very hard to all of us Pinoys. It was a year of political unrest, economic crises, tragedies and natural calamities that tested our resiliency, compassion, faith and strength as an individual and as a nation. The good thing is it has also been peppered with surprises and victories here and there.

But despite and because of all that, we saw a “better” us. We may be exhausted all throughout but we re-energized ourselves and stood up at the end of the day. There can be no greater journey than what we went through last year.

This 2010, we welcome new perspectives, new hopes and new passion for things that really matter. We are one in faith that this year will be more positive, more meaningful and more beneficial, that the opportunities for growth will be greater than last year.

This year of the metal tiger, may we continue to pursue happiness and success as well as promote goodwill and preserve or nurture whatever there is left for us in this part of the world.

As for the breadwinner me, I will continue to pursue my family’s dream of security, wellness and happiness. It’s gonna be tough I know, but I am sure God is there to help me. I just have to do my best.

Happy 2010 to all! :)
