From Prepaid to Postpaid: My Biggest Globe Switch
UPDATE: I am now a My Fully Loaded Plan 499 Globe postpaid subscriber. My experience with this one has been good so far.
After a few years of convincing by the Techo siblings, I finally gave in to getting a Globe postpaid plan last night. I availed of the My Superplan 349 (with unlimited texts to Globe/TM) and got a free Nokia handset which will go to my mom. (Her current handset is old and its battery has been acting up since last month.) I’m on a 24 month-lock in period, if I’m not mistaken. Albie accompanied me to SM Manila and right after our visit to the Globe business center there, we had a KFC dinner.
In view of the above, my friends, co-workers and online associates should expect a mobile text or online message from me informing about my new number. This is my first postpaid plan with Globe and I don’t now if it’ll be worth it. At least, not yet. I was left with no choice but to get a postpaid plan because my dad accidentally PUK’d my previous sim. I left my phone in Cavite and he didn’t know I was using a passcode. I love love Globe’s immortal promos and I wouldn’t have minded being on prepaid but perhaps, it’s really time for me to make the switch.
So yeah, I’m a Globe postpaid subscriber now and the Techo siblings are very happy with the news.

i also switched amonth ago. but my plan is 300consumable.
thinking of switching to 349text unlimited . watcha think?
@anonymous: So far, so good. The best switch I've ever made. I used to be Plan 349 (unli text) but it didn't suit me. Plan 499 is great for me as it gives me P499 consumable load credits which I use in texting and calling my Non-Globe friends and in mobile internet. My monthly Globe bill has never gone higher than P600 as well. I suggest you decide based on your needs as a mobile phone user. That's what I did.
