A Moment of Silence
Last Sunday over at my part-time work, we had a moment of silence when we received the sad news from the policeman that our co-worker died in a motorcycle-related incident in Quiapo. He was a silent man, a good single parent to his two children. Apparently, he was riding his motorcycle with his girlfriend and both of them weren’t wearing helmets. They met an accident while passing through Palanca Bridge and he got killed while the girl got severely injured.
Life is really unpredictable. And so is death. You never know when your last breath will be. It could be today, tomorrow or just about anytime. That’s why we have to always make the fullest of each day, no matter how good or bad our situation may be.
I pray for the repose of the soul of our co-worker. May he rest in peace.
