Do You Play Bingo?
Bingo, a game of chance, is quite popular here in the Philippines. I remember playing bingo when I was a teenager back in our sleepy town in the province. I usually played bingo during summer vacations, or whenever I was bored or simply wanna have some bonding time with the neighbors. Bingo is quite easy to learn and is definitely fun to play. I kinda miss playing bingo now. It’s good to know that in this digital age, anyone can play bingo on their PC. While some people play bingo for fun, others play bingo online for cash. Cool, alright, but it can be addicting so you better know when to stop.

October is Love
October has been a very busy but fulfilling month for me. How I wish every month is October, which is my month. Haha. But each month is different and that’s what makes them special, so why bother? Anyway, October is such a happy month for me because of several good reasons.

On Typhoon Survival and Emergency Supply Kits
Two days after typhoon Pedring left the Philippines, another typhoon has hit our islands. The rains are pouring hard outside as I type this post, and I can’t help but think of the destruction the new typhoon named Quiel (international name: Nalgae) could bring us. I am particularly worried about those who are living in low-lying areas (most of them haven’t recovered yet from the damages caused by the previous typhoon!) because they are the ones who are gonna be more affected than anyone else. But just because we’re at the third floor of our apartment building doesn’t mean we’re safe. During the onset of strong typhoons, anyone can be a casualty.

A Day of Broom Misery in the Office
If there’s one household chore I hate to do, it would be sweeping the floor. It’s a li’l funny because I like mopping a lot. Don’t sweeping and mopping go hand in hand? I remember when I was a kiddo, I’d ask my mom to just let me wash the dishes and the clothes instead of sweeping the floor and our backyard. You bet, I hated brooms (I still do!) and how no matter how hard I swept away the trash, I still didn’t get content with my cleaning because I could still see small dust and dirt getting left behind in the corners of our house.
